Tamkang University Lanyang CampusVice President Lin had been the follower of the founder Clement Chang for years. In 2005, Lin was mandated to establish the Lanyang Campus to create an education system similar to that in Oxford and in Cambridge in terms of the scale as well as the concept. Thus, the Lanyang Campus was built with a blueprint for exquisite education and it's a residential college. Both students and teachers are offered on-campus housing, forming strong ties and creating a cooperative learning atmosphere. The Lanyang Campus features an immersive English learning environment as well as study-abroad programs for all junior students. Students are able to acquire professional knowledge in English and get a global perspective.
The establishment of the Lanyang Campus was hard and met with many obstacles. For now, the campus has formed a solid ground and is still thriving. Cautious and conscientious, Dr. Lin will shoulder the great responsibility for leading the school toward a better future. Dr. Lin will keep the spirit held by the founder Clement Chang and bring new life to the learning environment at the Lanyang Campus, making the school a better place for learning.
