Entering the campus

1. If you enter the campus by car (taxi included) , motorcycle, bike, or on foot, the security will take your temperature.

2. If you enter the campus by school shuttle bus, the driver will take your temperature when boarding.

3. If you enter the campus by public transportation, the security will take your temperature.
 

Daily check

1. Checking time is from 09:00 to 19:00, daily between Monday and Thursday.

2. There are two health care stations. One is in the 3F of the teaching area and the other is in the 5F of the teaching area. These two health care stations will be open from 09:00 to 17:00. Furthermore, in order to make it more convenient for you, a night health care station will be opened in front of CL501 which is available from 17:00 to 19:00. Please go to the health care stations to check your temperature.

3. If you take the PE course, military training course or nursing section, the teacher or military instructors will take your temperature when he/she does roll call.

4. You only need to check your temperature once a day by either way.
 

Other regulations

1. If you do not have a room in the dorm and you will not come on fixed dates, you may give an advance notice to your department assistant (before 3/18).

2. You need to submit your leave request in advance or provide medical certificate right after the day. If you fail to do so in TWO consecutive days, you will be kicked out from the dorm.

3. You will be kicked out from the dorm if accumulated times of missing temperature check is more than 3 times.
 

What we will do if your body temperature is higher than 37.5 Celsius degree?

1. If you have a fever at campus, international student without off-campus accommodation shall move into the quarantine area. Other students shall go home to have a rest. However, for Taiwanese students whose homes are at a distance (south of Hsinchu), they may choose to move into the quarantine area. We will send you to see a doctor before you move into the quarantine area.

2. If you are found to have a fever when you enter the campus, international student without off-campus accommodation shall move into the quarantine area. Other students shall go home to have a rest. 3. If you shall move into the quarantine area but refuse to accept it, you will be kicked out from the dorm.

4. Leaving the quarantine without campus nurse’s permission, you will be kicked out from the dorm.

5. Unauthorized students enter the quarantine area will be kicked out from the dorm.

6. If you have a cold, you shall stay in the quarantine area for at least 3 days. If you have flu, you have to stay in the quarantine area for at least 5 days. And then the nurse will check your health situation. You can only leave when she says YES. However, if the expected date of your leaving is on weekend or holiday, you must stay in the quarantine area until she is back to work. So take care of your own health.

7. If you are a commuter and violate the regulations mentioned above, your pass or parking permit will be cancelled.
